How It Works

Picosure Laser emits short bursts of high energy light to effectively destroy the pigment in the affected tissue. The pigment cells break down when heated rapidly. As a result, the deep pigmentation of the base tissue gradually fades until it disappears. The laser energy is absorbed by melanin, while the surrounding normal skin tissue does not sustain any damage because it does not absorb this type of laser light.
